I know that when I’m stressed, one of the only things that consistently soothes me, besides whatever I’ve got stashed in my bathroom cabinet, is being immersed in nature. I don’t need a plan, a playlist, or a ball of any kind. I can just go outside, and sit, and stare for a while. A little touch the grass, if you will. And the air actually feels cleaner, not that my house is dirty, but you know…there’s something about taking a deep breath in the outdoors.
