When the Pollen Wins, These Indoor Valley Gems Save the Day

With spring in full swing, it’s lovely to see the blooms, the green grass, and the trees sprouting fresh leaves. But that also means one thing: pollen. Suddenly, the warm, sunny days come with sneezes, itchy eyes, and maybe even a little wheezing. While April showers have passed and it’s tempting to get outside, sometimes staying in is just the smarter choice.

My mom used to take my brother to the grocery store on days overrun with pollen, which I’ll admit works for some people. But for me? I aimed a little higher. No offense to the butchers, bakers, and canned food makers, they’re wonderful in their own right, but a grocery store isn’t exactly my idea of indoor fun.

Luckily, you don’t have to settle for aisles and checkout lines. I’ve rounded up a few indoor gems in the Valley with quirky, fun, and completely weatherproof fun that will help you escape the pollen without sacrificing a little adventure.
